Steel Warriors

Lives should be built on steel. Not destroyed by it.

Knife crime in England and Wales is at its highest in seven years. It is more prevalent in large cities, with teenage boys and men disproportionately affected, as both victims and perpetrators.

Steel Warriors creates outdoor community calisthenics gyms using recycled knife steel, taking knives from the street and turning them into something positive to enrich the lives of young people. By using these free community gyms, young people are empowered to build and show off strength – both physically and mentally.

Proud Robinson helped to bring to life the inaugural Steel Warriors gym in London’s Tower Hamlets and continues to support the efforts of this impactful and important initiative.
